3. SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to Turbo Zone: Car Royale and its singleplayer and online multiplayer features.

The Application may use third-party services to provide anonymous authentication, leaderboards, multiplayer networking, technical diagnostics, and other essential game functionality. Those third parties may process information under their own privacy policies.

4. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on the features you use, the Application may process the following categories of information.

4.1 Information you provide

We may process:

  • your chosen player nickname;
  • information you include when contacting us by email, including your email address and the contents of your message;
  • information you voluntarily provide when requesting support, access, correction, or deletion.

You should not use your real name, email address, phone number, home address, or other sensitive information as your player nickname.

4.2 Information processed automatically when using online features

When you use online features, the Application or its service providers may process:

  • an anonymous Unity Authentication player identifier;
  • IP address;
  • device type and device identifiers;
  • operating system and application version;
  • language, region, and approximate network region;
  • authentication tokens and session identifiers;
  • multiplayer room, match, session, and connection information;
  • network latency, connection quality, and technical diagnostic information;
  • gameplay information required to operate multiplayer sessions;
  • leaderboard score, wins, ranking position, and related game statistics;
  • crash, error, and performance information where technical diagnostic services are enabled.

We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, camera content, microphone recordings, phone numbers, postal addresses, government identifiers, biometric data, health data, or financial account information.

4.3 Data stored locally on your device

The Application stores certain gameplay progress and preferences locally on your device. This may include:

  • Green Cash;
  • Gold;
  • Battle Pass experience, tier, premium status, and claimed rewards;
  • daily login progress and streak;
  • unlocked and selected car colors;
  • unlocked and selected singleplayer car models;
  • selected cosmetic effects;
  • singleplayer upgrades;
  • unlocked NPC types and related singleplayer settings;
  • general game settings and preferences.

This local data is used to save your gameplay progress and preferences. Unless a cloud-save feature is added and disclosed in an updated version of this Privacy Policy, this local gameplay data is not intentionally transmitted to us.

Local data may be deleted by using an in-game reset option, clearing the Application's storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the Application. Device or platform backup systems may restore some locally stored data.

5. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

We may use personal data for the following purposes:

  • to provide, operate, and maintain the Application;
  • to provide anonymous authentication and player identification;
  • to create and maintain multiplayer sessions;
  • to display player nicknames, cosmetic car appearance, and game status to other players in the same multiplayer session;
  • to provide and maintain leaderboards;
  • to detect errors, maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems;
  • to respond to support requests and privacy requests;
  • to comply with legal obligations;
  • to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • to improve reliability, compatibility, and performance where permitted by law.

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

6. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING UNDER GDPR AND UK GDPR

Where the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), UK GDPR, or similar law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract or steps requested by you: to provide the game, authentication, multiplayer, and leaderboard features you choose to use.
  • Legitimate interests: to maintain the security, stability, integrity, and proper operation of the Application; prevent abuse; diagnose errors; and improve technical reliability.
  • Consent: where consent is legally required for an optional feature, such as certain analytics, advertising, or similar technologies.
  • Legal obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
  • Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims: where necessary.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

7. MULTIPLAYER AND LEADERBOARDS

When you use multiplayer features:

  • your chosen nickname may be visible to other players;
  • your selected cosmetic car appearance may be visible to other players;
  • limited gameplay and session information may be exchanged to operate the match;
  • technical connection data may be processed by Photon Engine and Unity services.

When you use the leaderboard:

  • your nickname;
  • your score or number of wins; and
  • your ranking position

may be visible to other users.

Do not include sensitive personal information in your nickname.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

8.1 Unity Technologies / Unity Gaming Services

The Application uses Unity Gaming Services for features that may include anonymous authentication, player identification, leaderboards, and related online game functionality.

Depending on the Unity services enabled in the Application, Unity may process player identifiers, IP addresses, device and application information, authentication information, session data, gameplay service data, and technical diagnostic information.

8.2 Photon Engine / Exit Games GmbH

The Application uses Photon Engine to provide real-time multiplayer networking.

Photon may process IP addresses, connection information, multiplayer room and session identifiers, server region information, latency information, and technical network diagnostics necessary to establish and maintain multiplayer sessions.

8.3 Application distribution platforms

If you obtain the Application through Google Play, Apple App Store, Steam, or another platform, that platform may independently process account, purchase, device, diagnostic, or usage information under its own privacy policy. We do not control the independent processing activities of those platforms.

9. ADVERTISING, ANALYTICS, AND REMARKETING

The current version of the Application does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The current version does not use personal data for remarketing or behavioral advertising.

The current version does not display third-party advertisements and does not use third-party analytics for behavioral profiling.

If advertising, optional analytics, remarketing, or personalized advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any legally required consent or opt-out mechanism will be provided before such processing begins.

10. PAYMENTS AND IN-GAME CURRENCIES

Green Cash and Gold are in-game currencies used for gameplay progression and cosmetic or singleplayer features.

At the date of this Privacy Policy:

  • Gold is earned through gameplay features such as daily login rewards;
  • the premium Battle Pass is unlocked using in-game Gold;
  • the Application does not sell Gold or Battle Pass access for real money;
  • the Application does not process payment card or bank information.

If real-money purchases are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those purchases are offered.

11. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may disclose personal data:

  • to Unity Technologies and Photon Engine as necessary to provide the features described above;
  • to application distribution platforms where necessary for distribution, security, or platform functionality;
  • to professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
  • where required by law, regulation, court order, or a valid request from a public authority;
  • where necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of users, the Application, or others;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, transfer, sale, or reorganization of the Application or its assets, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We do not knowingly disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

12. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain security, resolve technical issues, comply with legal obligations, and handle disputes.

In particular:

  • locally stored gameplay data remains on your device until it is reset, cleared, overwritten, or the Application is uninstalled;
  • nickname, leaderboard, and anonymous player account information may be retained for as long as needed to provide the applicable online feature, unless deletion is requested and can lawfully and technically be completed;
  • multiplayer connection and technical diagnostic information is generally retained only for the time necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service;
  • support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and document the response;
  • data processed independently by Unity Technologies, Photon Engine, or a distribution platform is retained according to that provider's applicable policies.

We may retain information for longer where required by law, necessary for legal claims, security, fraud prevention, or where deletion from backup systems requires a reasonable technical period.

13. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

The Application's service providers may process data in countries outside Poland, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or your country of residence.

Where required by applicable law, transfers are protected through appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual protections, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

14. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, you may have the right to:

Some local gameplay data can be deleted directly by clearing the Application's data in device settings, using an in-game reset option, or uninstalling the Application.

Some data is processed by third-party providers. We may need to coordinate with Unity Technologies, Photon Engine, or a platform provider when handling a request.

We may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law, including where we cannot reasonably verify the requester, where the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or where retention is required by law.

17. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

In jurisdictions where a higher minimum age applies to consent-based processing, a parent or legal guardian may be required to provide valid consent.

During the preceding 12 months, the Application may have processed the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: IP address, anonymous player identifier, device identifiers, session identifiers, and player nickname.
  • Internet or electronic network activity: multiplayer connection data, session activity, technical diagnostics, error information, and interactions with online game services.
  • Commercial or gameplay-related information: in-game progression, leaderboard score, wins, rankings, and unlocked game content. In-game currencies are not real-world financial accounts.
  • Geolocation-related information: approximate region inferred from an IP address or selected multiplayer server region. We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location.
  • Inferences: limited technical or gameplay status derived solely to operate and improve game functionality, not for behavioral advertising.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, financial account credentials, health data, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, genetic data, or biometric identifiers.

18.2 Sources

We obtain information:

  • directly from you, such as your chosen nickname or support message;
  • automatically from your device and use of online features;
  • from Unity Technologies, Photon Engine, and distribution platforms as necessary to operate the Application.

18.3 Business purposes

We use this information to:

  • provide authentication, multiplayer, and leaderboard features;
  • maintain security and service integrity;
  • detect and resolve errors;
  • provide support;
  • comply with law;
  • protect legal rights.

18.4 Disclosure

We may disclose the categories listed above to service providers, including Unity Technologies and Photon Engine, for the business purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

18.5 No sale or sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.

Because we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, we do not currently provide a separate "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link.

18.6 California rights

Subject to applicable law, California residents may have the right to:

  • know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected;
  • know the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients;
  • request deletion;

  • opt out of sale or sharing;
  • limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information;

19.1 Do Not Track

The Application does not currently respond to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals because there is no generally accepted technical standard for how mobile applications should interpret those signals.

19.2 Global Privacy Control

To the extent legally required and technically applicable, we will honor valid Global Privacy Control signals concerning the sale or sharing of personal information. The Application does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

19.3 Third-party tracking

The Application does not permit third parties to conduct cross-service behavioral tracking for advertising through the Application.

Unity Technologies, Photon Engine, and distribution platforms may independently process technical information as described in their own privacy policies to provide their services.

19.4 Policy changes

The "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated by updating this policy and, where appropriate, by providing notice in the Application or store listing.

20. NO DISCRIMINATION

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful denial of service, different pricing, or lower-quality service.

Certain online features may no longer function if information essential to those features is deleted.

21. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Application may contain links to websites or services not operated by us.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Review the privacy policy of each third party before providing information.

22. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Application, legal requirements, or third-party services.

The updated version will be published with a revised "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before materially different processing begins.
